2020 Immunization Training Week for the Temple Doctor of Pharmacy Program

In the same week that the first COVID-19 vaccine was released, Temple University School of Pharmacy fourth-year Doctor of Pharmacy students were trained and certified to administer vaccinations.

Some students applied their new skills as soon as the next day, inoculating their colleagues at hospitals against COVID-19. These students joined the group of healthcare heroes who were the first to give and receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
