A scan tool is an amazing thing. You just hook it up and then you replace the parts it tells you to.

What!!! Load up the parts cannon - not on my watch!

Here is a classic example of the scan tool guiding the diagnostic path to be followed, but testing of parts and thinking logically has provided the answer.

This was a no start situation and all indications pointed to a faulty suction control valve. So what was the fault?
