The North - A Canoe Trip in the Scottish Highlands

In this video we head up to the far reaches of Scotland to explore a few of the more remote lochs. Our main objective was to paddle some of the lochs in the Inverpolly region such as Loch Sionascaig and Loch Veyatie, this area is at the southern edge of the NW Highlands Geopark and it's really worth exploring either on foot or by canoe.

We had to deal with some poor weather occasionally but that's all part of the experience and it's good to test your skills in such weather. I didn't do any fishing which may come as a surprise to many, as my regular viewers will have noted my fishing prowess, but it's predominantly fly fishing in the area and I don't have a fly rod. However, we plan to return later in the year of a fishing trip so stay tuned.
