Child Tax Credit 2021 Explained

In this video I'm talking about the Advanced Child Tax Credit for 2021. The update will increase the payments from $2,000 to $3,000 or $3,600 per child depending on their age.

The income phaseout for the child tax credit has been lowered from $200,000 and $400,000 to $150,000 or $112,500 depending on your filing status.

The payments will also start in July for up to $300 and are fully refundable tax credits.

You can maximize your child tax credit by making sure you reduce your adjusted gross income below the phaseout amounts.
