40 Vogue Icons Remember Edward Enninful's British Vogue

“I got to high five Oprah, so... there you go.” This is how Dua Lipa sums up being part of British Vogue’s history-making March 2024 cover shoot — the last of Edward Enninful’s six-and-a-half-year tenure. Together with his long-time collaborator Steven Meisel, Enninful managed to assemble no fewer than 40 former cover stars — trailblazing media moguls, original supermodels and Oscar winners among them — in one room on one day in Manhattan. Cindy Crawford showed Anya Taylor-Joy where the camera was, and Maya Jama had a moment with her GOAT, “Somali legend” Iman, all while Meisel blasted ‘What’s New Pussycat?’ over the speakers. As Linda Evangelista says, “What a dream.” Watch the film in full to see Jane Fonda, Naomi Campbell, Miley Cyrus and more reflect on sisterhood, fashion as a force for good, and what Edward means to them.
