Important Security Meeting in Sheikhupura for Muharram & Eid ul Adha | DPO Bilal Zafar Sheikh

Truth News Network reports from Sheikhupura where DPO Sheikhupura Bilal Zafar Sheikh and Deputy Commissioner Shahid Imran Marth chaired an important high-level meeting regarding security arrangements for Muharram ul Haram and Eid ul Adha.

The meeting was attended by SP Investigation Rana Ghulam Abbas, SP Headquarters Muhammad Nawaz Sial, officers from sensitive institutions, members of the United Ulema Council District Committee, Shia scholars, license holders, and procession organizers.

Detailed discussions were held on maintaining law and order during Muharram and Eid ul Adha, ensuring foolproof security for processions and gatherings, monitoring cattle markets, traffic management, interfaith harmony, and implementation of the code of conduct.

Religious scholars, peace committee members, and procession organizers assured the district administration and police of their full cooperation to maintain peace and harmony in Sheikhupura.

DPO Sheikhupura Bilal Zafar Sheikh stated that all available resources will be utilized to ensure the safety of citizens during Muharram and Eid ul Adha. Strict security monitoring will be carried out at sensitive locations, Imam Bargahs, processions, religious gatherings, and cattle markets, while police patrolling and security measures will be further strengthened.

Citizens were also urged to immediately report any suspicious activity or untoward incident to the police to help maintain peace across the district.
