This island of Huahine in French Polynesia is one of the most underrated destinations in the South Pacific—and chances are, you’ve never even heard of it. Sitting quietly between Bora Bora and Tahiti, this place completely surprised us.

After leaving Australia, traveling through Fiji, and now exploring the Society Islands of French Polynesia, Huahine has become the one destination that truly stopped us in our tracks. Out of everywhere we’ve been so far, this is the first place where we both looked at each other and thought… yeah, we could actually live here.

In this episode, we dive into what makes Huahine so special. From local fresh markets and grocery runs to finding incredible places to eat and riding scooters through tropical rainstorms—it’s real island life, unfiltered.

🍽️ One of the absolute highlights of our time here was Izzy’s Restaurant, easily our favorite spot on the island. If you’re visiting Huahine, this place is a must for amazing food and a relaxed, authentic vibe.
