Trail of Life (Acoustic Version)

An Acoustic version, just piano and vocals.
In January 2020 I was traveling South Africa and Kenya, but had to return home early.
My grandma died.
I got the news right before I was supposed to hike mount Kenya.
At that time I wasn’t sure what to do.
But in the end I decided to continue the hike, for my grandma, and then immediately fly home
afterwards. Even though I suffered some form of Altitude Sickness, I managed to reach the top.
Cause heaven is closer in the mountains.
I flew back the night after the last hike down and was in time to be at the funeral.
A song for my grandma, but also for everyone who has lost someone.
