Runaway or Kidnapped?

The plaintiff says the defendant is her sister-in-law, who she claims kidnapped her rebellious teenage daughter. She’s suing for attorney fees and emotional distress. The defendant denies kidnapping her niece and claims she actually rescued her after she ran away. She’s countersuing for harassment and defamation of character.
