KH Dream Drop Distance (PS4) - Hockomonkey (LV1 Critical/Riku)

So a few things happened between this and the last video. The first is that I actually traveled to Pranksters Paradise with Sora a bit early so I could pick up High Jump. Its not exactly necessary but I felt it would be nice to have. I also spent a little while farming DP so I could buy the Magic Boost LV3 drop bonus, this is why my damage output in this video is so much higher then it is on Sora's version. The LV3 boost you buy for 200DP is absolutely insane and is in fact so strong that it pretty much negates any chip damage you would deal over the course of the entire game and almost makes it look like I'm doing normal Critical damage. It won't be until the last world when my low magic stat starts catching up to me and even the magic boost won't help. However despite that my defense is still incredibly low so it won't be long before everything takes out over half my HP in a single hit.

This boss isn't what I would call bad, it just has a really bad arena. The thing to note is that despite fighting the same boss with Sora and Riku, their bosses are never identical. Whereas Sora's Hockomonkey was fast and aggressive with melee attacks, this one uses magic and splits his body apart into multiple enemies. Its like this for every repeated boss with the exception of the boss rush in the second visit to Traverse Town.
