Homemade strawberry jam recipe: easy & delicious!

INGREDIENTS


1.5kg of strawberries


750g of sugar


1 teaspoon of vanilla extract


Juice of 1 lemon


 


METHOD


1. In a large bowl, add the chopped strawberries, sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla extract.


2. Stir with a spoon until the ingredients are well combined.


3. Cover with plastic wrap and let the mixture macerate in the fridge for about 2 hours.


4. Pour into a saucepan and cook over medium heat for about 1 hour, stirring frequently.


5. Once cooked, the jam should be smooth and slightly liquid.


6. Pour the jam into jars, seal them well, and turn them upside down to help create a vacuum seal.
