Tuna Ceviche

Its awesome to be back and making new Meal vids. One of the benefits on being post comp and now in off season, I can actually eat the foods I make for my videos. For my first vid and meal back though this one is kind of odd. If you watched my last “salmon omelette” vid I mentioned that I was not a fan of seafood, but after some practice and some experimenting ive found a great cooking method that eliminates the fishy taste that ive always hated growing up. In addition to this the meal is quite cheap, simple and incorporates a great variety of tastes with emphasis on fresh, clean, citric tastes.
The Tuna ceviche is a cooked meal yet there is no heat involved. You use the acids in Fresh Lemon and Lime to cook the Tuna which also acts as a flavouring agent. As I said (assuming you use Fresh Fish – of which Salmon can also be used) the fishy-ness is neautralised & because Tuna is Low fat, High Protein this method adds freshness and variety to the meals I prepare and eat.
The Tuna is accompanied by two layers – one is an avocado and cucumber layer and the second is a bruschetta style salsa. Each layer uses completely fresh ingredients and partner with the Tuna perfectly (eaten together or seperately).
I know its an odd and fancy looking dish but all prep and cooking should be done with 20 minutes using extremely simple cook/prep techniques. So I encourage you guys to try something quite new a different and if youre like me, you may discover a new method in making some foods not only bearable but more than enjoyable.
