BJJ Blue Belt Worried About Losing and Disappointing His Coach / Mentor

Today's video is about a young guy who is getting ready for a competition and has recently been promoted. Like most people at a new belt he doesn't feel ready at this new level of his BJJ and is worried about letting his Jiu-jitsu coach down.

He says his Brazilian Jiu-jitsu coach is not just a coach. He's a friend, a mentor and someone he looks up to. This young guy has also become one of the better competitors inside the gym.

And with that, he's worried that if he competes and loses that he'll let his coach down or possibly change the dynamic between their relationship.

In this video I share some ideas on how most of the coaches I know judge people. I'll also share some ideas on how to accept losing in grappling competitions (or anything really).

Hope the video is useful to you.
