Nokia 2.3 Review!

Nokia 2.3 is Nokia’s latest budget smartphone that was launched recently. For a budget price, it features a bigger display, better camera setup and bigger battery than its predecessor. We used the phone for more than a month and here we are with the Nokia 2.3 Review. But before getting started with the review, let's get familiar with the price of the Nokia 2.3 in various countries and where to buy it.

▶️Buy Nokia 2.3 here: http://bit.ly/37Yuzhu (Nepal) | https://amzn.to/2UuG0tm (India)

➡️Nokia 2.3 Price in Nepal: NRS. 11,999
➡️Nokia 2.3 Price in India: INR 8,199
➡️Nokia 2.3 Price in Bangladesh: BDT 10,000
➡️Nokia 2.3 Price in Pakistan: PKR 16,900

Let’s talk about the design first. There is no denying that this one is a boxy and chunky phone. It’s a little difficult to hold the phone considering its boxy aesthetics. And since it is a budget phone its no surprise that it is made of plastic. But the back of it looks good because of a vertical ridge running throughout the device. By the way, the frames of the phone are metal. And you also get a dedicated Google Assistant button here which can be used to trigger other functions, but you will need to do it via a third party app only.

Display-wise, you get a tall 6.2-inches display that has an IPS LCD panel with HD+ resolution with an aspect ratio of 19:9 aspect ratio. The notch on it looks impressive as it is small and unobtrusive. However, down below, you get a significantly large bezel due to the Nokia branding. The brightness of the Nokia 2.3 is not very good because it does not get very lit for use in outdoor conditions.

Now, about the cameras, it comes with a dual-camera setup, which consists of a 13MP primary sensor with f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor for portrait images. Though the specs sound good for budget phones, the images are a hit or a miss. In some scenarios, it works fine, but in others, it simply does not. The same is the case with the selfie camera. And the night time images are also not that great.

Supporting the performance is MediaTek’s Helio A22 chipset which is the same as the Nokia 2.2. The performance is okay for a budget device, but it does not hide the fact that it is slow. For app opening and multitasking, the phone takes its time. For biometrics, you don’t have a fingerprint sensor but you do get facial unlock which is painfully slow.

When it comes to gaming, it can handle a few big titles at the lowest of settings. Light games run very well though. On the software side, you get Android One with which Nokia promises up to 2 years of system upgrades and 3 years of monthly security updates.

Battery-wise, you get a 4,000 mAh battery here which really makes this phone a 2-day device. But charging, on the other hand, is painfully slow as with the 10Watt charger, it takes about 3 hours and 18 minutes to charge the Nokia 2.3 from 0-100!
