Unboxing the Nokia 5.3 budget-friendly smartphone ahead of my full review, with an in-depth tour of the quad-lens camera, specs, performance, display and other bits. Costing just £150 in the UK, the Nokia 5.3 is one of the cheapest phones to hit the UK. But is it among the best budget mobiles of 2020?

Many Nokia handsets stumble when it comes to the performance, yet this handset packs a Snapdragon 665 platform plus 4GB of RAM. That should make for a smooth everyday experience, which seems to be the case in my hands-on time. Battery life should be good enough for one or two full days as well, thanks to the 4000mAh cell.

It's a stock version of Android on the Nokia 5.3, as it's an Android One smartphone. That means two guaranteed OS updates and regular security patches.

As for the camera tech, you get a 13MP primary lens, 5MP wide-angle, 2MP depth sensor and 2MP macro lens. I'll be testing those out for my full Nokia 5.3 review.
