Road bike upgrade to Shimano Ultegra 11-speed

For those, who are not 'into' cycling, I was upgrading all the running gear on my bike from a mish-mash of 105, Sora and Tiagra to Shimano Ultegra 11-speed, except for the hubs.

If, like me, you can't afford Shimano Dura-Ace components, I can absolutely recommend Ultegra 11-speed. My bike is now SOOO light and rides like a dream! (The carbon-fibre frame/forks help, of course.)

As for the photography side, I set my Canon 7D up fairly high on my rock-steady Benbo tripod and used Canon's EOS Utility to control the camera in taking over 800 still photos. Because I'm getting a little slow in my old age, this process was spread over 2 days. If you look closely, you can see my footwear change in the middle of the video.

Strangely, I lost around 300 photos on the first day but I don't think it makes much difference to the end result. It was just a little thing I did wrong.

In what seems like a former life, I was a bike mechanic.
