Inexpensive Chicken Pesto Angel Hair Spaghetti #pasta #spaghetti

An inexpensive way to impress your family. Their favorite pasta noodles smothered in creamy chicken pesto sauce. Serves 4-5. #spaghetti #pastarecipe

Bake 4 chicken leg quarters at 350 for 1 hour. Use your favorite seasonings. Let cool and debone.

Add 6 oz of your favorite pasta and 1 tsp salt to 10 cups boiling water. Cook 7-10 minutes Drain.

In a skillet, add 3 tbsp unsalted butter and 1 tbsp olive oil. Bring to simmer.
Add 1/2 onion chopped and 5 garlic cloves chopped. Stir and cook for 10 min until onions are soft.
Add 2 1/2 tbsp flour. Stir for 5 minutes.
Add 1 cup milk, 1cup chicken broth, 1 tbsp basil pesto, and 1 1/2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese. Stir until thickened.

Add 2 cups of the chicken. Stir to combine.

Serve over pasta.
