China's state-backed crypto (CBDC) is blowing up...

Yep, you heard that right.

China has a state-backed crypto that its actively testing across the country.

The crypto is called the Digital Yuan and it's a CBDC, which is also known as a Central Bank Digital Currency.

The price of a single Digital Yuan is pegged to the actual price of the Chinese Yuan ridding it of the crazy volatility you see across assets like Bitcoin, making it applicable for daily use.

The digital Yuan wallet app is already topping download charts across both Apple & Xiaomi app stores.

But China isn't the only one, Europe, Sweden, Russia and other countries are also considering & testing CBDCs as we speak.

I guess central banks are feeling the Bitcoin heat...
