Zoo Tours Ep. 80: Trail of the Tiger | Virginia Zoo (2011)

Roaring waterfalls, howling gibbons, and a sanctuary for some of the rarest animals we may never see again. Asia! Trail of the Tiger of the Virginia Zoo, now the channel's 28th feature. With $18 million the trail gave Norfolk a home to over 25 new species, originating in the mountains to the forest canopy. Using both this wildlife and consistent array of exotic architecture to portray dozens of Central and Southeast Asian countries. Along the route we meet our first baby tapir, learn about two of a few remaining bears that are being phased out of the United States, and several animals that are disappearing from the world.
