Zoo Tours Ep. 50: The Rainforest of the Americas | The Los Angeles Zoo
Welcome to a very Special Episode 50 on Zoo Tours! Not only is this an introduction to the very first feature of a west coast zoo, but it's the debut of the newest member to the Zoo Tours channel!
In the 2014, the Los Angeles Zoo completed their $180 million master plan with a worthy finale - the Rainforest of the Americas. Home to the most iconic and in a couple of cases, the rarest creatures that dwell in the jungles of Mexico down to the southern parts of South America. Everything Has a Home, the exhibit states. Spreading the message that the rainforest is a harmonious celebration of life unified by all of its levels - with animals of the high canopy, the understory, down to the forest floor. From eagles high in the air, to interactive otters, to the roars of the jaguar, the Rainforest of the Americas is without a doubt a must see attraction.
