012318 SH105 EAST HEAD ON

At 730am calls came into the Montgomery County 911 dispatchers in reference to a head-on crash on SH 105 East near Walker Road. NMCFD arrived first on the scene and immediately requested 4 ambulance. They stated they had 3 patients critical and entrapped. Crews worked for close to an hour cutting victims out of vehicles. Three critical patients were taken to Conroe Regional Trauma Center in critical condition. Another person was transported in stable condition. The DPS investigation continues. The Montgomery County District Attorney's Office is assisting in the investigation. SH 105 remained closed in front of the Waste Management Landfill until just after noon. Troopers are still attempting to determine what exactly caused the crash as there were no skid marks.
