Beautiful abandoned Victorian farmhouse built in 1895. Explore #57

This house was once hidden from the road and very over grown. There was construction on the road so they had to cut down a lot of the trees in front of this house now showing the beauty of this house once again. Built in 1895 this Victorian farmhouse has been abandoned for approx. 6 years. The original owner was a successful oil painter. The second owners were also artists. They moved out and gave the house and property to their son. I was told the son just wanted the land not the house. Today the house sits abandoned and likely never to be lived in again. Poor insulation and wood frame windows this house would cost a small fortune to heat in the cold Canadian winters we have.

My father took me to my first abandoned house when I was 7 years old. I remember going into the house and a old farmer came in and told us "we better watch out as the floors are all rotten and unsafe". Ever since that day I was hooked on exploring abandoned places.
