Citadella Gozo and Underground Silos Tour, Victoria, Gozo, Malta

Come on a tour of the Citadella (Gozo, Malta) which has been totally refurbished from top to bottom including the addition of numerous lights to make the night tour a spectacular show. In addition, a multi-million euro visitor center has been constructed below the main gate with elevator access to provide the guest with a hands-on interactive experience into the history of Gozo and its Citadella. We start the tour at the Citadel Main Gate and walk along the ditch area and make our way to the underground silos which served for the storage of grain in medieval times and in the 18th century were used as water reservoirs. We then embark on a quick view of the Artillery Battery in the back of st. John's Demi-Bastion, continue around the ramparts showing the interior of the newly renovated citadel grounds and take in the views of the Church Square. All presented along with various night views to highlight the majestic beauty of the Citadella.
