METAL MASHER - Did It? My Favorite Moab 4x4 Trail - Ep9 2023 Summer Adventure

Join us on the most challenging 4x4 Jeeping adventure my BIL and I did in Moab this year. The OnX Level 8 of 10 Metal Masher was a long difficult trail with many obstacles that had no bypasses. I would NOT recommend it for stock 4x4 off-road vehicles. Our this weekday trip we only saw one other party on the MM trail! The rest of the day we were completely on our own. Not shown in this video was the trip we made earlier in the day out to Gemini Arch. After that visit we headed for Metal Masher. Near the end of the video we had a choice between calling it a day and an obstacle called Widow Maker. If we had difficulties then, we would likely have been spending the night and using the supplies I always take. Being solo, it was an easy decision. This is yet another reason for leaving your trail before the sun drops too low in the sky. However, as long as you are prepared I highly recommend Metal Masher!

In the next video, Doug and I leave Moab for the high country of central Colorado. There are 5 other Moab 4x4 off-road trips in my files. Included in those are well known trails such as Hells Revenge and Fins & Things. Look for those videos to pop up later this Fall
