Life in a Tiny Off-Grid A-Frame
Elsa and Barron built the most incredible tiny off grid A Frame in beautiful Colorado and after chatting online for years, we finally went out to see them and get to meet in real life.
There is something so special about meeting someone you feel like you already know. Like deep in your soul there is this connection and while you might not know the details of their life (how old they are, the name of their parents, what they wanted to be when they grew up) you have this sense of deep knowing of who they are. That is what this week felt like in Colorado for me. Connecting with people who felt like we've known for years.
And this A Frame was just PURE MAGIC. It's hard to find the words about how special this space was for me. Rejuvenating. Inspiring. Just pure connection to everything I'd been craving for years.
Not to mention it is also set up so well. Between the propane heat that lets you be comfortable all night long, the little wood stove, portable battery for a hot water kettle, easy composting toilet setup, comfy bedding, lots of snacks, the list goes on and on. They really thought of everything when they put it together and makes me want to recreate it on our land!
If you haven't seen Elsa and Barron before here's a link to their channel : https://www.youtube.com/@ElsaRhae
Thank you for watching and really hope you can feel the magic in this video :)
Big hugs,
Dana
