KDF officers land in Baringo

Kenya defense forces  have already set foot in Baringo with only one mission in mind that of flushing out bandits in the insecure Elgeyo Marakwet, West Pokot and Laikipia counties.
The areas which have already been declared as hostile and unsafe regions in the country will for the next weeks witness the presence of the heavily armed forces this following the  directive from president Uhuru Kenyatta after  consultations with the national security council.
We are now getting reports that the residents in the area are now fleeing the region in fear of the military operation, a move that has been welcomed and criticized in equal measure  by leaders and residents in the region
