How to Add a Contact to a Group in Outlook

Need to update a mailing list or add a new team member to an existing group? This video shows you the quickest way to add an individual contact to a Contact Group (sometimes called a Distribution List) in Microsoft Outlook. We cover the steps for finding the list and adding members from your Address Book or by typing in a new email address directly!

Steps covered in this video:

Accessing People: Navigating to the People icon (or Contacts tab) in Outlook.

Opening the Group: Double-clicking the specific Contact Group you want to edit.

Adding the Member: Clicking the Add Members button on the ribbon and selecting the contact from your Address Book or adding a new contact manually.

Crucial Step: Clicking Save & Close to finalize the changes and ensure the new contact is included in future emails.
