DiddyBop- Noname (cover)

A lot of you asked me to cover the whole song but I told myself I wouldn’t record it unless I knew the lyrics by heart. For this I did crazy research, I started listening to some B2K and checked out Raz-B’s interviews, found our Kennicott was a florist in Chicago, looked up the brand FUBU (which I had no idea about), realized “Stars in my pocket” was an inspiration from a book by Samuel R. Delany, found out that Cam O’bi was obsessed about the Perseus meteor shower and finally learned to do a decent version of the Diddy Bop. I love digging into the psyche of my favorite artists and deconstruct the songs. It’s a fun process, i felt like I was having coffee with @nonamehiding and picking on her brain.
