One Boy's Inspirational Journey with Rare Disease (Niemann-Pick Disease Type C)

Josh was diagnosed with the rare and devastating condition Niemann-Pick disease type C at just eight months old, a condition often referred to as "Childhood Alzheimers" due to its terrible symptoms. With no cure available doctors said he would likely not live to see his fifth birthday...

This didn't stop Josh. Last year he celebrated his 12th birthday and serves as an inspiration to many around the world! But despite Josh's amazing story, there is still no cure and those affected by this conditon rely solely on voluntary grants and donations to get the care and support they need from dedicated charities like NPUK.
