So last night I stepped off a train from DCs signature theater, ran a few errands, and then relaxed at a bar by myself to watch the rest of the Cavs game. Cavs won and I thought the night was over until my buddy called me and told me to come by Birdland Jazz Club to perform. Of course I said, no, at first like 30 times, but in the end I figured I would at least go watch him perform. I was tired and I had been auditioning people all day. ??
Well I end up getting there and he convinces me ??. No sheet music no warm up no theater get up at all. Just a Yankee fitted, my Breaking Brooklyn hoodie, some slacks, and my back-up taps.
