London's e-bike problem: It's worse than you thought

LBC's Fraser Knight joined the Metropolitan Police on patrol during an operation targeting illegal e-bikes and scooters in North West London.

Over just a few hours, officers set up checkpoints, made stops, and seized multiple vehicles linked to criminal activity and anti-social behaviour.

The targeted activity comes as the Met has seized over 3,000 illegally modified e-bikes and e-scooters seized since January 2025.
