Real Power Outage, Aims Inverter Whole-House Backup

We have a real power outage at our street. This is serendipitous given that we just finished installing our Aims 6000 watt inverter a few days ago. My generator is a Honda EU6500. It's been working great for me, but time for an upgrade.

In this video I add a 240 volt outlet to the Aims inverter. Then I run a generator cable from the Aims inverter to power the whole house. It works. We have the full 120/240 volt split phase.

I'm so excited that the whole system is working. After this black-out is over I'll be installing a better solution, maybe with a sub-panel or critical loads panel.
