Sombrero Galaxy from my backyard #m104 #shorts #telescope #astrophotography

The Sombrero Galaxy, also known as Messier 104, is a spiral galaxy located 28 million light-years away from Earth in the constellation Virgo. It gets its name from its distinct shape - a round central bulge surrounded by a wide, flat disk that looks like a sombrero.

The Sombrero Galaxy is one of the brightest objects in the Virgo Cluster, and it's estimated to contain around 800 billion stars. It's also notable for its supermassive black hole, which has a mass equivalent to 1 billion suns.
