IC405 the death of stars can trigger their birth #shorts #telescope

The Flaming Star Nebula, also known as IC 405, is a diffuse emission and reflection nebula located in the constellation Auriga. The nebula is approximately 1,500 light-years away from Earth and spans about 5 light-years in diameter.

Another fascinating feature of the Flaming Star Nebula is the dark dust lane that runs across its center, obscuring the light of the nebula behind it. This dust lane is thought to be the result of a shock wave created by the collision between the nebula and a nearby molecular cloud.

IC410 is also commonly referred to as the "Tadpole Nebula" due to its distinctive shape, which resembles a tadpole swimming through space. The nebula is approximately 12,000 light-years away from Earth and spans about 100 light-years in size. It is a site of active star formation, with many young, massive stars being born within its clouds of gas and dust.
