Great Central Railway 'Golden Oldies' gala 30-05-11 part 1

Some Scenes from the Great Central Railways annual 'Golden Oldies' gala, featuring 7 locos in steam. The first part is from Loughborough Central and Leicester North.
Starting with the Liverpool and Manchester railways 'Rocket' propelling its train into the loop then the other 1830's loco (replica really) 'Planet' departing for Quorn and Woodhouse. Then 'Jinty' 3F no. 47406 runs down the loop to prepare for taking the next service down to Leicester. 'Rocket' then departs for Quorn, and the double header of Terrier 'Martello' and Well tank 'Bellerophon' arrive from Rothley with Furness Railway No.20 on the rear. To finish off at Loughborough for now, 47406 backs on to the 12:15 to Leicester.
The final scene of part 1 is at Leicester, where 47406 runs round to form the 13:00 back to Loughborough. Part 2 to follow.
