Snowdon Walk - Pyg Track / Miner's Track - Snowdonia

Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales, is 1085m at its summit and has some of the best views in the UK which are reached using several well used paths. This was a walk we made up to the summit from Pen-y-Pass using the Pyg Track to ascend and the Miner's Track to come back down. We went up on the 25th May 2012 starting at about 9am, and got to the top at about 12.15pm. Weather was absolutely fantastic, no clouds, and the views were outstanding. However, I did get eaten alive by the midges which were crowding around the people at the summit. Will definitely be back to Snowdonia and Snowdon.
