Circassian Performance 2016 Compillation

Two years ago, I rejoined the Narts Dance Ensemble. A folk dance troupe of my people, the Circassians. We trained and worked hard together to throw a magnificent performance two nights ago. I embarked on this journey to rekindle my knowledge of my people because my wife is now expecting and we have a boy on the way I intend to teach about his ancestry and the struggles they went through to retain their sense of cultural identity.

Listed below at the dances shown. The performance exhibited 2 other age groups and many other dances between the three of us but I have only compiled the ones seen here.
Kafa - Noble's Elegant dance of which I am the soloist in white

Widj - Courtship Dance, only one male and female make contact in

Dagestan - A girl's dance showing their power and fiery footwork of
Lak, Dargeen, and Avar tribes

Zinab'ghawish - 3 Brothers of Kavkaz representing Glakhestaney,
Karbadian and Chechen tribes

Thapechas - Translates to "Dance on the toes" which means the knuckles of the toes

Aglatan Kafa - A beautiful wedding variation of the highest respect

Hakulash - Powerful and swift movements of the Shapsugh village

FINALE - A use of power knee drops, spins and acrobatics after wearing Shaquas, the felt and whool cloaks used to protect our ancestors on long cold journeys.
