Challenge of Champions XXXV

Last weekend, I competed in the Challenge of Champions and took 1st again in the MMA Advanced Division for 155Ibs-165Ibs. A good friend of mine I train with at my school, Matt, also was in that division and we defeated all our opponents to get see each other at the Finals. It was a great time and I learned a lot from my experience as I always intend on.

This time around, I spent far too much time on my back. While I may be comfortable there and I did land a triangle choke because of it, I also received far too much punishment and did not control the match as much as I'd like to. I look forward to the next one in Summer to improve upon my fighting style until then.
