Gentleman's IFR flight for breakfast ruined by popup storm
Nice gentleman's IFR day ( no wind OVC 500 feet warm aloft, clear above) A stubborn cell did not want to move out of our way and was over the final approach fix. My friend went ahead but I decided to turn back. After I was headed back he came on the radio because he had turned around also. Still got our approaches and stayed safe too.
