10 Tips you DIDN'T KNOW in The Long Dark

Here are 10 Tips you didn't know about The Long Dark... or maybe you knew all of them? Most of these tips are minor things and won't affect survival or gameplay, but are instead little tricks or nuggets you perhaps didn't know.
And yes, you can of course just aim down the sight with the revolver... but that doesn't look as cool (and you can trigger a wolf charge)!

This tutorial does not feature any streamer, unlike the other tutorials. This was done deliberately, in order to keep the length down, so the video is nice and short. An early version used 3 clips from streamers, but they were all clips used in other videos, so I scrapped it to shorten the video. Editing and content disclaimers:
- Moose carcasses also protect you from wind. Deer carcasses also do, but they are too small and generally it won't work. However, if they fall near an edge, their body can contribute towards making a wind wall. In practice, this has almost never happened to me.
- If you don't have the Jerry Can in your inventory, you get lamp oil bottles instead that hold up to 0.50 liters. These cannot be transfered to the Jerry Can.
- The trick to harvest clothes to pass time also work with other things, e.g. harvesting a tool or breaking down something. Keep in mind that even though time passes, you are not curing Cabin Fever this way.
- You can, of course, just aim down the sight with the revolver. Using the campfire is a gimmick. However, if a wolf has aggroed you and you aim down the sight, then you will trigger a charge.
- A little trivia: The footage of the bedroll in the dark is from the same run as the timelapse of Signal Hill in the opening. The poor character has been sitting around for almost a year doing nothing. I call her Patient Penny.
