Viking Tales To Sunny Trails - Jelling & Julesminde | Next Stop Everywhere

Our travels around Denmark continue with a stop off at somewhere we've never been... and actually somewhere which is possibly the most famous place in Denmark... Jelling!

Now, you might not have ever heard of Jelling but it really is the birthplace of modern Denmark, and has a very special connection to something you might find in every single mobile phone. Sound a bit odd? Well join us as we explore (in some depth) the incredible Viking history of this great nation, and the very special place that couple of bit carved stones in Danish history... it's quite the tale! And as you might be able to tell, we get quite excited and fascinated at the whole thing!

Follow that with a trip to the stunning fjord coastline at Julesminde (in Danish its pronounced 'yools-minner' if you're interested... at least, we hope so!) - a beautiful beachy town where two fjords meet and the Danes love to swim in the crisp, cool waters. Spoiler alert... it was January so we didn't swim. We just admired the incredible views and basked in the fabulous Danish sunshine.
