The reception is located at the red pinkish building. I’d recommend going straight to reception and get your room number and building first before unloading your luggage. We got our room at the Blue one, third floor (highest floor). There is no lift, had to carry the luggage all the way up. As read in the reviews, the walls are pretty thin. You can hear your next door. The way they lay the plan between the two rooms is that there is one main door leading to a & b room. In the small common doorway area, there are fridge, ironing board, clothes hangers and electric kettle. The A room seems to be bigger as I checked from the evacuation layout. The water temperature in the bath is consistent.

The second floor is the dorm rooms where the laundromat is at. There is one set of washing machine and dryer in the common kitchen, The rate for laundry is 350 ISK and the dryer is 250 ISK. The kitchen is on both 2nd &3rd floor. They clear the fridge every Monday, if you are staying for long, need to label your belongings properly. There are vending machines for snacks and drinks on the ground floor. Besides, it has a bar next to the reception.

They do not offer shuttle service from the airport, but only to the airport in the morning from 3:30-7:30 then 9-11-12. The shuttle is 600 ISK per person and can book upon your arrival.
