Charles Dubouloz is a rising star of French mountaineering, climbing the world's highest peaks and exploring new routes in places as remote as the Nepalese Himalayas. He attracted widespread attention in January 2022 when he climbed the famous "Rolling Stones" route, one of the most challenging in the Grandes Jorasses, in the Mont Blanc massif. For six days, in an historic solo ascent, suspended in the darkness of the north face, at temperatures approaching -20°C, Charles found himself alone in the face of rock and ice.
