A Fellow's Tale: Lenora Guion Firmin's Mountain Story - Ep. 1

Dive deep into the world of Vuarnet’s Fellowship Alpine Emissary Program through A Fellow’s Tale: Mountain Stories, a collection of alpine vignettes.

Lénora Guion-Firmin is an Olympian and French runner with the Aiglon club in Lamentin in Martinique specializing in the 200m and 400m. At the age of 18 Lénora left Martinique for the United States to pursue sports and studies at the University of Maryland, both of which were very important to her. It was there that she discovered athletics. “Before competing against others, we compete with ourselves, so there's always that challenge. It's always about becoming a better person than the day before.”

Vuarnet Fellows are relentless explorers and athletes, just as Vuarnet is relentless in our dedication to craftsmanship and quality protection. The Fellowship is an inclusive space that fosters an extraordinary sense of community in celebration of our inherent quest to commune with the mountains. A Fellow’s Tale explores the human side of experience, the desire to transcend ourselves and our Fellows’ essential need to pursue their particular paths in life.
