Stelios Liotopoulos, PTA & Patient

In this video, Stelios Liotopoulos, PTA is working with his patient to help improve his flexibility, strength, balance and stability. Stelios is having his patient work with the ProStretch Ankle Step Board to help enhance his overall performance. The ProStretch Ankle Step Board has a unique rocker design which holds the foot in the optimal position to help stretch the foot, ankle and leg. This piece of equipment helps to relieve and prevent heel pain and achilles tendonitis. Stelios has his patient walk and do step aerobics. Step aerobics helps improve your cardiovascular health by building strength and improving balance and agility.

Stelios Liotopoulos, PTA has been with Reddy Care Physical, Occupational and Aquatic Therapy since December of 2008. It was through soccer that Stelios first became interested in Physical Education and Exercise Physiology, which he enrolled in through Queens College. Early on in his studies he became familiar with Physical Therapy and switched majors to the Physical Therapist Assistant program. Stelios shows great compassion to his patients. He enjoys seeing patients get back to their daily activities free from pain and dysfunction. Stelios states "although we sometimes don't see the progress we wish, we do the best we can with every patient and always see an improvement".
