密着24時！ソフビ職人 - "Sofubi" Toy Makers

ウルトラマン、ゴジラ、仮面ライダー......。古き良き昭和の時代に隆盛を極めたソフトビニール人形、通称「ソフビ」。手触り良い感触に小さな手のひらを重ねて夢観たヒーローや怪獣たちのSF世界にいま、大人たちがこぞって夢中に。

フィギアショップ「リアルヘッド」の森かつら氏と70歳の職人、後藤氏の下を訪ね、ソフビの魅力に迫る。

The designer toy movement has inventively made it's way to the "sofubi" scene, an abbreviation for "soft vinyl" in Japanese. For more than 10 years, Mori Katsura of Realxhead has been creating original action figures using his 60 year-old process, which includes Mori's secret weapon, a 70 year-old master painter named Goto. Vice follows Mori, an innovator in the indie soft vinyl scene where he collaborates with Goto to produce new toys.
