DIY Window Install Timelapse [#7]

Did not get a chance to film an explanation of the work on this one so its timelapse time.

We purchased new double pane vinyl windows and installed them in our 2nd story unit. We cut back about 3 inches of stucco from the exterior to expose the window framing so our new windows could use the nail flange for easy installation. this makes leveling the windows very easy and reduces the hours it takes to install by maybe 50%. you do however make up for that in some of the cost of stucco patch you do after the fact, but its well worth it.

that large second story main window was pretty intense. we lifted onto a two story metaltech scaffold and barely got it in place without dropping the dang thing. Definitely not a job for the faint of heart.
