The Demon Slayer Rogue Build is aimed at world tiers 1 and 2. This is going to be an upgraded version of the build I dropped several days ago which focused on stacking poison damage on enemies and damage over time. This build now utilizes both Poison and cold damage to melt enemy health bars overtime, freeze them in place putting them into a vulnerable state so you can destroy everything.

The general strategy for this build involves trapping your enemies into a vulnerable state so you can funnel them, opening tons of opportunities for DPS. Playing on Veteran mode can be tough if you don’t have the proper tools for crowd control and damage which is why you need a build that can go toe to toe with even toughest enemies in the game.

The Poison Trap is what I like to use to initiate every combo. Its also great for slowing down enemies and dealing damage overtime while you wait for your other skills to cooldown. After upgrading to the Enhanced Poison Trap, enemies will be knocked down when the trap activates. To further increase the effectiveness of the Poison Trap I added the Countering Poison Trap Modifier which gives me a 30% chance to reset my imbuement skill cooldown every time my trap is activated.

The next skill I’m using is the Caltrops which synergize well with the Poison Traps. You can either drop the Poison Trap then drop the Caltrops to trap enemies in the Poison OR you can drop the caltrops to slow enemies down giving you some time for DPS, drop a poison trap to build damage overtime and finish the combo attack with one more Caltrop. Once you fully upgrade this skill you can slow down enemies up to 65% increasing the windows of time for you to apply poison and deal damage.

The Cold imbuement skill is main damage amplifer for this build. This skill imbues your weapon with Ice which allows you to deal Cold damage and apply chill to enemies. Upgrading to the enhanced Cold Imbuement modifier which applies a lucky hit to the build. Cold imbued skills have up to a 30% chance to make enemies vulnerable for 3 seconds. Vulnerable enemies will always take 20% increased damage. To increase the damage even further I fully upgraded the Frigid Finesse passive skill which increases my damage by 20% to chilled enemies and 30% to frozen enemies.

Barrage is the main DPS skill on this build. In my previous video I was using Rapid Fire which is great for fast DPS but fell short when I was fighting crowds. The barrage works well with this build because the AOE is wider. Your arrows can also ricochet of enemies for easier crowd control. The one downside to the Barrage skill is the range so I advise getting closer to individual targets if you want to land your shots. For a wider attack that hits multiple enemies it’s a good idea to fall back and get some range. I also unlocked the Improved Barrage passive skill where every 3rd cast of barrage makes enemies vulnerable for 2 seconds. Combine that with cold imbued attacks which have a 30% to make enemies vulnerable, your damage capabilities are always there.

The Basic Skill that I am using on this build is Invigorating Strike. This attack increases energy regeneration by 20% for 3 seconds. Energy is used to cast all of your most powerful spells so the quicker you build energy the more effective you will be. To make the most out of those low energy situations I added the Fundamental invigorating strike modifier. With this active, Hitting an enemy with Invigorating Strike while you are below 50% energy will make them Vulnerable for 3 seconds.

You’ll start to notice a pattern here. We’re always trying to get enemies into a vulnerable state so we can apply as much burst damage as possible.

For my Ultimate Skill I am using Rain of Arrows. This skill is incredibly satisfying to use and is great for crowd control and last resort situations. As long as you take advantage of the Poison Traps and Caltrops, your Ultimate Skill will be more effective. The goal is to line your enemies up, funnel them and unleash this skill. The Prime Rain of Arrows modifier adds 20% potency to your Cold Imbued Attacks. Which means your Rain of Arrows attack will be more effective if your imbue your weapon with ice first.
