Today I will be showing you one of the most Powerful Sorcerer builds in Diablo 4. This Ice Storm build focuses strictly on ice elemental abilities and utilizes each skill to it’s full potential. First and foremost, the survivability on this build is great. When you time your skills effectively you can leave every enemy on screen frozen and immobilized. You’ll also want to pay attention to each enemy that’s frozen on screen because it opens up the opportunity for more AOE damage thanks to the extra added explosions per frozen enemy hit. On top of that, the main core skill on this build, Ice Shards will ricochet off of every single frozen enemy. The whole playstyle for this build revolves around chilling as many enemies as you can on screen with your ice focused skills and then eliminating them very quickly using a chain reaction of explosions that are achieved with this build. If you want a build that’s reliable with tons of AOE damage and great survivability. This will be the perfect build for you.

The basic skill on this build in Frost Bolt. Its an obvious choice for any build that focuses strictly on ice abilities. The frost bolt also applies chill to enemies which is what eventually puts them into a frozen state. What will really make this basic skill standout however is the enhanced frost bolt modifier. This gives frost bolt a 100% chance to explode everytime it hits a frozen enemy. The explosion affects other enemies nearby and works incredibly well for killing groups fast.

The Core skill on this build is Ice Shards. This is going to be your main DPS skill. Launch 5 shards that deal 981 damage each. Damage is increased by 25% to frozen enemies. To take full advantage of this skill I highly recommend unlocking the Enhanced Ice shards modifier. With this modifier, ice shards will always ricochet off of frozen enemies. This not only makes your AOE damage stronger but helps tremendously with clearing enemies fast so you don’t get overwhelmed. To make this skill incredibly strong you’ll want to increase your lucky hit chance to take full advantage of Frigid Breeze. Cold Damage against vulnerable enemies has up a 20% chance to generate 15 mana, With the precision magic modifier, lucky hit chance is increased by 15%. This means Cold Damage against vulnerable enemies now has a 35% chance to generate 15 mana. This is amazing for ice shards because you can spam the attack longer dealing more dps overtime.

Im actually using 2 defensive skills on this build. Ice Armor and Frost Nova. The ice armor skill works well when you need extra protection casting spells. I usually like to start every combo with this skill since I can apply chill very quickly without taking any damage for a short period of time. The enhanced ice armor modifier increases your mana regeneration by 25% when ice armor is active which makes stacking chill quicker and more effective.

Frost Nova is the second defensive skill and to be honest it’s one of the best skills on this build since it allows you to freeze enemies instantly and put them into a vulnerable state. The mystical frost nova modifier is a must have since it always makes enemies vulnerable for 4 seconds, increased to 6 seconds against bosses. This skill works the best when you get a bunch of enemies into one area. The more enemies you can hit with skill, the better.

For the Mastery Skill on this build I’m using Blizzard. This skill works amazing on this build because it applies chill very quickly to all enemies on screen. Not only that but the skill itself does damage overtime. When you mix the blizzard in with your frost bolt and ice shard attacks, you’ll be able to freeze enemies very fast. I also recommend unlocking the enhanced blizzard modifier which deals 25% extra damage to frozen enemies.

For the ultimate skill I’m using deep freeze. Encase yourself in ice becoming immune for 4 seconds, continually dealing damage overtime and chilling enemies for 14%. This ultimate is incredibly strong if you use it the right way. What I like to do before I even cast this skill, I try to build up as much chill on enemies as I possibly can. I’ll cast the ice armor so Im protected from enemy damage, from there you’ll want to cast as many blizzards as you can before your barrier is removed, you can even cast frost nova right away and the unleash the Deep freeze ultimate skill. The AOE damage and chill accumulation when you stack your ice skills is going to be insane.
