% or amount growth INSIDE the Pivot Table

Using the 'Difference from' option in Pivot Tables to be able to, WITHIN the Pivot Table, show either the absolute difference from items in the same column or the percentage difference in those items. You can specify a benchmark or tell the Pivot Table to compare it to the previous or next item. This is very useful when you have monthly or yearly data in the Pivot report and want to be able to see how the periods change over time WITHOUT building formula outside the Pivot Table.
